Any one ever do any Scientific Studies on what way to Store Cues is Best to PREVENT WARPING? I Currently have more cues than Case Space, so I Wrap my Extra in Soft Cotton Flannel, and Store Em Upright in the Closet. In Shipping Tubes? :o

I would think the best way to store a shaft is to hang it from something...

You might want to try this to stop warping. I use wax on my cues after I clean them. I wax the joint of the cue on the shaft end. I believe moisture is what causes warping and most of the moisture enters at this point.

It might be partially luck but I have never had a cue warp. I sometimes leave my Meucci on the pool table in the garage during the summer. It can hit 90 and humid in there.

Hope this helps,

Kevin

Don't have a Warping Problem but would like to find a Flat Dealers Case to Put under my BED, or Stand in Closet for Storage, as the Tube & Flannel thing gets old.... :D

For my extra shafts I got one of these cue racks then put a large washer on the joint end of my shaft held on by a joint protector and put the shafts tip down in through the holes in the rack. They hang free and I have seen no warpage develop yet.
