I received a couple of cues yesterday that Pat Diviney worked on for me.
I had Pat replace the shaft on the Ebony jump/break he made me with a Silvertone Dymonwood shaft that has the one piece G 10 ferrule shaped like a tip. I will try that for awhile and if not happy I will fit a Samsara break tip on it.
The original dark brown Diviney Lake Salvage shaft that was on my Diviney jump/break was fit to my Diviney Custom Ebony Hustler that he did some ivory up grades to.
He put 8 small ivory dots around the bottom of the butt, 4 small ebony out lined ivory diamonds on the points in the middle and 4 small ebony outlined ivory spears on the top of the Ebony points on the forearm. None of these ivory spears, diamonds and dots are very big and they look flawless as far as the work and fit goes. They definitely add some thing good looking to the cue, as does the dark shaft.
Pat refinished every thing also and put a new to me Puritan tip on another shaft I dropped off with him last October. From the time I dropped the cue off at the Diviney cue shop to the time I received it back took about 4 months and the cost for all the work was very reasonable.
This is about the 5th time I have dealt with the Diviney cue business and each time I have had good results. Good work completed in a timely manner for a reasonable cost. It is a pleasure to deal with an honest craftsman.
