Southwest style, "Buska" style, Szamboti style...etc. What are the cue "styles" and what makes them that way?

Styles are just that.. and they are usually attributed to the originating cue maker. When describing a 6 point, 3 hi points and 3 low point cue, most times people associate this style with South West, so South West style would apply.

Szamboti and Balabushka also had distinct styles, so it would apply accordingly. Hoppe ring cues are sometimes called in the "Rambow" style, or Hoppe style because its a design that people associate towards the Brunswick Hoppe cues.

I know the definition of "style" (I've been wearing the same khaki pants and hooded sweatshirts for 15 years):D

I guess I'm looking for more in depth than Southwest and Classic. I'll try to rethink then repost my question. Thanks for your response though.
