So far,I have only re-tipped Cue-Tecs,and need some info on the tenon, since I don't have one handy to examine. Are the tenons threaded or smooth, and are they undersized, forcing me to fabricate one? If the tenon is unthreaded,is it a large enough diameter that the Atlas tenon threader will work well enough to make the new ferrules lock down tight? Are there any special procedures as far as not chipping the fiberglass at the bottom of the ferrule? Thank for the help,Tommy D.

The fibreglass on a cue-tec is pretty thin so when installing a ferrule you treat it the same as a plain Maple shaft. You put a ferrule on them the same way you put any other ferrule on. If you thread your ferrules on then take the tenon down to your normal threading size and cut the threads, if you don't thread then take the tenon down to your normal size again being 5/16 or whatever.
