Cue tip & Ferrule Questions

The LBM ferrule that I am using is capped! I did try the wizard med, but still did'nt feel right. I am wondering if maybe the non-capped ferrule would be a softer hit.

When I put a Wizard M on my Joss (capped Aegis ferrule) it hit much harder than my shafts with uncapped ferrules. Hard enough that I switched tips after only one night of play. As I said in my previous post, the ferrule's only one piece of the puzzle. Maybe someone with more expertise can jump in and confirm.

I use a moori 3 quick, i like hard tips and they were awesome at first but they are hard as steel now so ill be replacing real soon to a sniper.

On my Schick it's a Triangle w/pad, on Ivory ferrule.

On my Lucasi it's a Triangle w/pad on stock Lucasi ferrule.

my local dealer doesnt have any kamui tips n he offered me a brand : Zan from japan. i m amazed how the Zan tip grips the cue ball. It feels like holding the cue ball with ur bare hands. i personally tried moori 3 Medium which i dont like. it mushrooms too quickly n it doesnt grip the cue ball as much as Zan tips.
this made me so much more easier to apply spins n draw shots so effortlessly. it took me quite sometime to get used to it.
