Can we get a list of cuemakers that are members of AZBilliards?
Bludworth Custom Cues
Webb Custom Cues
BCM Custom Cues
Ted Harris Custom Cues

I know there's more, just drawing a blank. What about other people like promotors, cue repairman, sellers, collectors, instructors, etc? I think it would be nice to have a "contact list" of just members from this family of cueing enthusiasts. Anyone else agree?

i would be willing to try out cues from any or all of these makers. i realize i might have to play a lot more pool to do this, but i would be willing to make the sacrifice if called upon to do so.

Unfortunately, Murray Tucker is gone from cuemaking. :( He recently posted on RSB, which he frequents, that his primary business had grown so significantly, that he was unable to continue with cuemaking.
If I am not mistaken, he stated that it was becoming increasing more difficult for him to maintain a decent timeframe in completing his cue orders, and that after his last orders were fulfilled, he was done.
He also mentioned that between his primary business and cuemaking, that it was leaving no time for family, which was another factor in making his decision.

I think he means it, as he actually just very recently listed one of his personal Tuckerbilt cues, as well as his SW on eBay auctions.

Many, many people were saddened by this announcement, as he is highly regarded as an excellent craftsman/cuemaker and terribly under-rated. Plus he's just a super nice guy. :)

Tucker can't stop makeing q's till he does mine..Then he can stop and close up shop.. :D

He's a big loss to the art of cuemaking. I've conversed with him and he's a very nice guy... very accomodating. Hope he'd get back to it soon

Murray stated that he would finish up the orders he currently had waiting, but would take no new orders.
There had been much discussion, as it were, on RSB concerning 'cuemakers time' and that some cuemakers....some very highly regarded for their cues....would quote approx delivery dates, and then push them back, and then push them back somemore, very often with no notification to the customer. Some customers claimed to have suffered some verbal abuse when threatening to 'void' their contracts with certain cuemakers because of non-delivery of their cues.
I think that Murray's decision was based partly on the above. I have always read that he was always very timely, and very communicative with his customers. I think that he was beginning to feel 'under-the gun', because he just wasn't having the time he used to have to devote to the cues, and didn't want to fall into that same trap. I think Murray is a man with a tremendous amount of integrity, and based on all the aforementioned, made the sad decision to discontinue making cues.

I am certainly bummed, as I had someday hoped to own one of his very fine cues. But alas, it appears it is not to be, unless I happen upon one on the secondary market. Deadstroke....you are a very lucky guy, you will very likely get one of his last cues.
My 'want' list is very short, as I am kinda picky about my cues...which is why I currently only own a Skip Weston. Looks like my list just got a tad bit shorter.
