Cues from a living legend

He is the master.
I met him the Bike last year. I talked to him briefly. I called him The Maestro.
He liked that. Some have said he is a little "airy". He did not seem that way at all.
He openly talked about cuemaking.
I didn't even know he gave made Efren a cue long time ago and that it was stolen.
He is a legend. His designs are just so elegant.

Could you even bring yourself to shoot a game of pool with one of those? If I were fortunate enough to be able to afford one I'd have to wait until I could afford a pool table worthy enough to play on. I also bet it'd be hard to shoot good with simply because you couldn't take mind of your cue long enough to concentrate.

joe im not sure why you mentioned "typical" cnc mindset?
all of those designs could easily be executed on a pantograph.

although i do agree he is the master and think those are beutiful i prefer his old cues. i would love to see him do one of his new designs the oldschool way like he used to do.

Do Players Buy & Play with these Fancy Cues, or are they Poser Cues?

I ask this question as if there are just Show Cue,. Bought by Collectors, and shown to friends who say OOO, and AHHHH.

But also I wonder if these Fancy Dans, are Playable like the Cues that made these Cuemakers famous. Do they Hit, and Play well.

If you do not understand my term Poser, it was coined in the Biker world, as the Posers who are mostly Yuppies, and Dinks. Show up at Biker event with these lovelies dress out motorcycles.

You see them at River Run, Sturgis, Dayton, etc.. They are riddint the best darn looking bikes, like a 1998 Harley Davison with everything from Custom paint to, and are all from affair. They never ride the Bike anywhere, but trailer them to Pose with their bikes and become part of the event.

The Poser are good for there hobby, as they spend lots of money at the Dealers, and when they go down for the first time, you can get a great deal on a almost, like new ride.

So like I asked are these fancy Cues playable, or just too look and say OOO, and AHHHH. I need not worry about having one as it is out of my league… ;)

Typical CNC mindset being floating spears and arrows, the design out of the box stuff. BTW you need to see these cues up close, because there are two or three of them that even the best machinist with a pantograph isn't going to touch.

Joe

joe im very curious which ones you think cant be touched with a pantograph?

and ive seen them up close. very awesome like all of his stuff.

The Snakewood, silver and gold has to one of the prettiest cues I have ever seen. I'm off to the store for a lottery ticket.
