Why race to 3? How many tables do u have there?
 
Race to 3 and 5

Joe, it is a race to 3 - 8 ball until the final 16 and then we will jump it up to race to 5. We have 6 diamond bar tables and try to make sure it finishes up quickly so out of town players can get home faster.
 
Stopping at 64

LaToolMan, we have 37 players confirmed and paid. Get your entry fees in early because we will stop at 64 and start a waiting list.
 
I was thinking of making the trip but then saw the very quick drop in the payouts. are the percentages paid to the players going to stay the same?

Also what would be the best reasonable hotel to stay at?
 
Klink, I think the payouts you referred to consisted of the Payout of the purse and at least
one calcutta,probably two.It seems the calcutta didn't pay as many spots as the tourney.

I'd like to make the drive from Houston, but the race to 3 is just to short for that long of a drive. We come from here we gotta stay overnight anyhow, so race to 5 only makes sense for us. Maybe 8-ball future events can be 5 and I could assure to get about 5-6 people to come.

Joe we are doing a race to 3 until the final 16. Once we reach the final 16, we are racing to 5. Everyone we have about 41 players paid and signed up at the moment.
