I have been playing with a Cuetec Avid 12.75mm for a year now and I like it but have been thinking of going to a 12.9mm or 13mm and carbon fiber. Looking at something like a JFlowers or Raven. My question is will I notice any difference going from the Avid shaft to a CF? I've only played with a carbon fiber for a handful of shots and don't have the option to borrow one long term to test. Stick with cuetec for cf since you have the butt already
the cynergy is the best shaft i ever used
i certainly made more balls once i started using it
jflowers and raven are pretty generic, might as well go rhino at that point

I have the avid in 11.8mm and the cynergy in the same diameter. The deflection is less with the CF. When I bought the cynergy it seemed like a safe bet because they were hard to come by so I could at least recoup most of my cost if I regretted it. It plays nicely, but I have not magically gotten better due to equipment.
I have a Cynergy and a JFlowers SMO and I think that the SMO is better.
But he is looking at a wider tip than 12.5 so neither fit
I have the same Avid shaft. I tried both CF, and Kielwood, and ended up going back to the Avid shaft. Your results may vary. Just my experience.
