Cuetec Cynergy shaft to Avid Butt

Cuetec makes their shafts in two diameters for their pin. One of the 2 should fit flush but not the other. Helpful and not helpful at the same time.
If buying new from Seyberts or another site, they should help, plus they have a good return policy.

Yeah. I did this recently. Thought I’d just stick with Avid shafts, which I like. Like the Cynergy too. Fits well. Seems to get pretty tight for some reason. But the joint fits well/rolls straight/ no facing issues.
With this setup you can get into a cue with cf shaft and a spare shaft (not cf but Avid) for like 625-750 depending on the butt you get. Not bad. And I’ll probably eventually get a Truewood cynergy at some point because I can’t resist more cues.
