cuetec cynergy

It's crazy to "believe" the Cynergy shaft has anything to do with you having to give them more weight. It's gotta be something like a slump or some other coincidence on their part.

This is a fact: There are now a good number of top-tier pros using the Cynergy cue/shaft and I don't see them getting any weight from anyone. Sure those guys/gals can shoot great with anything...but if the performance of the shaft was not stellar, they wouldn't be using one (sponsorship money or not).

I agree. I too can play at my current level with "any" cue.

But, that doesn't mean "everyone" can....which leads me to what I said.

If you can play with anything, well, you understand. Then again, if you can't, well, maybe you don't understand.

Still not understanding... You said theCuetec CF are no different than a wood shaft, then how come they are playing worse? Just does not make sense.

One more time:

Cuetec cynergy is no different "to me"....

As for why they are playing worse....well, it may be just a coincidence....or not. Maybe they should go back to wood or try another shaft....i dunno.

To be clear, I do know some that are playing just as well with the cuetec as they did with wood.

I play David Rowell from time to time. He has changed to cuetec and I've not noticed any difference in his performance.

Digging up an old thread.
Has anyone played with both the GEN ONE cue and the later version with the "wood" forearms?
I wonder if the balance and feel is the same.
I have a G1 and am looking at picking up another but it's the newer cue, not the G1.
Anyone hit with both and know if there is any difference?

Thanks in advance if there is someone out there with the answer.

I love the Cynergy Shaft personally. I've had Revos, but couldn't shape my ball when needed. Low-deflection is good - No deflection (and no feel) is bad – at least once you reach a certain level. I think Cuetec made the shaft they wanted to make, that Shane wanted to make, not another REVO clone like most other CF shaft makers. I believe REVO's are great for those that want to force every ball and have no interest in learning to shape the ball or play a more natural pattern. When you consider the Predator's Top Pros - most are using wood shafts - Kaci and Filler specifically. For Meucci, Sky and Billy are both on wood, and then you look at Cuetec - Fedor and Shane are both using Cynergy. This is just one man's opinion though....
