I was wondering if anyone uses cuetec shaft cleaner to keep their cue clean and if so is it any good at making your cue glide thru your bridge hand, as I am thinking of purchasing it, but I would like a few of the members thoughts first before I make my decision.

First off, is it for a Cuetec cue, or a Maple wood shaft?

Need the info. If it's Cuetec, use their stuff. Maple wood shaft? Use Slip Stic, IMO. See what other think.

It will work on any cue - whether it is fibreglass clad or not. It will also make the shaft slick enough to slide through your fingers.

A suggestion for you - buy the spray bottle first of all, then buy the smaller (and less expensive) pour bottles as a refill after the contents of the spray bottle have finished.

The best thing to use on a Cuetec cue for cleaning is a petroleum based one that leaves no residue, as I have found. Important though is to stay away from silicon for two reasons; 1. silicone attracts oils and greases which in turn attract dirt 2. your cuesmith/maker will hate you if you ever bring your stick into his shop because it will disrupt his work in progress

Also, we have a formulation for a Cuetec shaft that works exceptionally well. Much better than new and no need for a glove if you prefer not to use one. My plans were to visit Valley Forge this year to demonstrate it but was unable to.

Anyway, there is a possibility that I will be at the BCA in May. So if you are going there please let me know.
