I recently bought a cuetec cue (cuetec ct-263) but the cue tip isn't ok.
The cue tip seems to be bright and it's difficult to chalk. I tried to fix it with a sandpaper, but after few shots, i couldn't chalk the tip well again.

Now I want to replace my cue tip, but I would like to know your opinion. This cue has a lepro tip, is this tip a quality tip ? Which is the best tip for my cuetec ?

I hope your help
Thank you

Note: I don't speak english very well :)

First...you are in the wrong section of the forum. This is the machinery section. If you have more questions ask them in the main section or ask the cuemaker section for best results.
Now to answer your question...yes the original Cuetec tip sucks. To me its not really a LePro, more like a harder water buffalo tip. Take the cue to a professional cue repair man and have a premium layered tip put on...there is a huge selection with Sniper, Kamui, Moori being some of the most popular tips that will play & hold chalk well. You could even go the Triangle or Elkmaster route for a single layered tip that will still play well and hold chalk...and cost a bit less.

I've used the LePro tips a few times, and just hate it. To me, it's too hard, and get flat after playing a few times. So it's really difficult to chalk well with the LePro tip.

Right know, I'm using a Moori M and a Sniper (Tiger Medium), I prefer both.
