Cuetec

I want to get an older Cuetec Avid Sneaky Pete and ad a Cuetec Cynergy shaft to it. I see both are 3/8x14 but are the both the same mm (20 or 21.3) at the connection point so they match up flush??
I tried Cuetec but couldn’t get a solid answer.
On one site they have the Avid at 20 and the Cynergy at the 21.3, and another visa versa.
I don’t want to this unless it comes out flush. Too much $$$. Does anyone have any feedback?

You’ll need to double check it yourself, but I am pretty sure the Avid butts are the newer 21.3. The older cues were 20. I have Avid butts that are 21.3 and compatible with the Avid or Cynergy 21.3. They might make some shafts for the older butts. ( I did a quick google search, but you should as well.)

One follow up question. When you said older Avid did you mean older Cuetec and when you said what size was listed on the site, was that just for the shafts?
The older Cuetec cues have what they (Cuetec) called their "legacy" joint which is ~20mm, or .787 inches at the joint. The newer Cuetec Cues, including the AVID "Sneaky" are ~21.3mm, or .839/.840 at the joint. Those dimensions are for both the butt of the cue, as well as the respective shaft joint diameter/s.
Best regards.
