from what I see the companies that actually do put money into pool are ridiculed and disgraced by the "good" pool players ... those same players in the same breath claim no one is supporting pool.... and pool is dead or dying?
predator is 50/50 (approx) some love them some hate them.. but cuetek has commercials during every match. love em or hate them they ARE one of the few supporting pool in the way most of us think they all should.
I don't like graphite, I don't like plywood, I am a solid maple guy to the end...
However these universally ridiculed companies ARE putting large amounts of money into pool.
looking from the outside in... it seems that spending big money on pool is the quickest way to alienate yourself from your target market.. thats my take judging from the banter on this forum.
the forum hates cuetek.... but cuetek commercials are all that we see..
