curious about cue value

Hi:
I've got a question about the value of a cue that I own. Curiousity only, I have no intention of selling it.
This cue was the actual cue used by Earl Strickland
to win the 2002 World Pool Championship in Cardiff.
It was personally autographed to me by Earl in my
presence along with about 20 other witnesses.
My question is what is the value of such a cue????

Thanks in advance,
Karin

this is a PURE GUESS, so take for it's $.02 worth.
pool is not a big money game. cue collecting can be. but big collectors aren't interested in signed cues unless the cue goes wayyyy back, because the players are as little known as the game itself.

your average player who has a smattering of knowledge about the PRO game and strickland, might offer you a few hundred more. people will want to know how you came to possess it. obviously, you got it at the world's.

Several who post here are in the Collectable Cue Business, I would think they have an IDEA of what the Market is for you Cue.

Do you have any photo of you receiving the Cue, or a Letter from Strickland that would ad “Province” and help establish the authenticity of your Prize Cue.

i have a meucci sneaky pete signed by loree jon jones i won in a jpnewt raffle. i would be more than happy to sell it.

That depends if he gets to the hall of fame. :D

You should contact lucky@ilovecues.com :D

Didn't one of Jim Rempe's cues that he won the world championship with sell for some good money in Japan??

I'm sure the story the cue has and Earl's name will go along way to bumping up the value, but really how much is a used Cuetec worth?? j/k :p
