Custom Case?

Hello all, I'm starting to get more into this forum- thanks for the help with the sledgehammer awhile back.. (I ended up getting a BK2 instead and WOW am I happy with it).

Anyway- I'm in the market for a new case. I was seriously considering an instroke case, but then I remembered that Valley forge is fast approaching and figured that it might be nice to get something custom. I'm having some trouble finding information about custom case-makers. I assume that a custom case will protect my equipment just as well as the instroke cases I was looking at- am I correct in this assumption? Is there any reason I should or should not get myself a custom case over a production case? Like I said, I'm going to be shopping at valley forge, who's cases should I check out?

Thanks in advance for the assistance!

I'm going to sell this soon and get a Justis. It's a 3X5.

If you want the best, there is one name...Jack Justis!

Justis and Whitten would be my pick. The workmanship is second to none. They both take tremendous pride in their work.

Custom Case

I would add Ron Thomas to your list. I've had a couple in the past and his cases are as good as anyones, especially if you like the old school Fellini style. Ron is also a great guy to deal with.
