Custom Cue Changes

I have been told by several friends that almost any custom cue maker
can make some custom changes to any cue even after it has been finished without hurting the integrity of the original design.
I have no idea if this true or possible so I figured I would ask the experts on here for some insight on the issue.

The first issue in question is having the Butt of a cue that weighs
15.5 oz without a weight bolt reduced to 15 oz ?

The second issue in question is having the Flat Faced phenolic joint
changed to a Flat Faced Solid Ivory Joint ?

Any Help on insight with these questions would be Greatly Appreciated.

if the original maker cant or wont, i believe both issues are easy changes, but costly for the joint.

This would be where I'd start. He should be able to help you out on everything.

The weight change should not be much trouble for Chris to do. The joint change would require a refinish and would probably be rather expensive.

Uh, if there is no weight bolt, where would you like the weight removed from? Anything can be done with enough disassembly and money.

It is a simple drill and plug job under the rubber bumper.
