Custom cues

Anyone know about custom cues by a guy named Ax in Linton, IN? I'm thinking of going down there next week and would appreciate any information you have.

I was close on his name. It's David Axe. Supposedly been in the cue making business around 30 years. The Linton, IN part was correct.

Don't mean to bump the thread..., but was really curious why your not doing business so I know if I ever run into him.

He makes his cues according to what HE likes. If a customer likes it fine, if not, too bad. Also, you do not have the opportunity to try the cue. Can't hit any balls with it at all. Your feel, etc will come from making "air strokes" with it. How does it hit? You'll have no idea until you buy it and take it home. No refunds either - none.
