I recently acquired a custom shop Huebler with original shafts and original Huebler cue hard case I am open to sell for a reasonable offer or will send it off to get refinished.
Specs: 19.45 and 19.6 oz
Level 4 Custom Ebony as described below:
Bird´s-eye maple forearm, four ebony points with four veneers,(red/black) ebony butt sleeve with cross patterned inlays of tulipwood and Brazilian rosewood.
Also all the ring work is dashed wood rings.
Level 4 Custom Ebony
- Bird´s-eye maple forearm, four ebony points with four colored veneers, ebony butt sleeve with cross patterned inlays of tulipwood and Brazilian rosewood.
The Good: STRAIGHT as an arrow and tight..
The Bad:
1) Spent its life in a room full of smoke and probably the hands of a smoker.
2) One Area of the buttsleeve has a ding/dent and a few surface dings and light finish chip but appears to be only the finish. After refinish, this cue should look great.
3) In the butt cap (phenolic?) there appears to be a hairline like crack or thin cut, but it does not appear to be deep or go all the way through. The crack is paralllel with the bottom and about 1/4" up from the bottom. Outside of repair, this could easily be removed by a cuemaker and impact length and weight minimally, or repair/replace it.
4)Has original shafts which are chalk stained but easily cleaned with magic eraser or refinish. NO dents,cuts, or dings in them that I can find. They lock up nice with the nylon inserts.
As Stated this is a project cue that deserves refinishing either for resale, collection, or in the hands of a serious player. If someone is interested in this as a project or player as it is and willing to make a reasonable offer, let me know. Part of me wants to send it off to Scott Sherbine or one of the cuemakers here and have it restored. But since I can't play anymore (like I ever could).I figured someone here might like to do it justice.
The attached is a file photo of the custom model called Level 4 Custom Ebony. That is the exact cue with 2 shafts and original Huebler Hard case I describe above. If you are seriously interested, PM me with an email where to send send the full sized pictures in private.
