I'm converting an old ebony Dufferin house cue for a customer and just finished the matching joint protectors. I thought I'd share them with you to see what some of you thought.

Nice protectors. Throw a 5/16-14 screw and female threads in there and I'll take them! Oops, not for sale.

This set of jp's sold for $75. Maple cap, all black is ebony and the ring is an alternate ivory.
