Sold Custom Pechauer purpleheart cue. Butt only and extension

used only a few times. Never dropped, always kept in case etc. I wanted the same cue built that my favorite player uses, and pechauer said it was their cue, and hence I had this built. Turns out, the real cue was made by OB, and I now have it. I contemplated just keeping this, because it came out very nice and pechauer is known for top quality, but realistically, it wont get used.

What type of joint pin?

It's Pechauers own speed joint and the last time I checked you can only get a shaft from them.
I had a Pechauer years ago,well made cues.

Do you have a shaft for the butt?

no. Someone bought it from me. I was just gonna keep the butt and get a cheapy shaft for it as a spare cue, but it wont get used and i dont want a nice brand new cue sitting around not being loved

You cant get a cheap shaft,you must buy it from Pechauer because of the pin they use.

there is a fairly local guy on AZB that has a shaft and was going to meet me half way and sell it very reasonably. They are out there.

I'm sure there are Pechauer made shafts out there but no after market cheap ones are made.

ya. Im sure they have that pin patented, right? Nevertheless, its a pretty popular cue and when i was looking for a reasonable used shaft for it, i got several responses.

I have a Pechauer LD 11.75 shaft thats barely been used. Its the P/4 Lite You can get cheap if needed. BTW- These are great shafts...I also have the 12.75 that I use all the time. GLWS

Browsing seyberts today when I noticed bull carbon fiber shafts have changeable inserts that fit pechauer speed joints. Whyte carbon shafts do as well. Not cheap but I figure any prospective buyers should know their options.

yes i believe it can be done. A local cuemaker to me was going to do that on another cue. This cue, I wont be using, as i now have a custom O.B cue.
