I think Leon Sly's basic sneakies start at 350 or 400. He's on the forum here, is a real nice fella, and his cues are some of the best I've come across. I don't think that deal can be beat if you're talking about a brand new sneaky from a reputed custom maker.
I'll also say the Lucasi sneaky pete can be purchased for 160-200 brand new and plays really good as well if you're looking at production-made sneakies. Joss also has a nice one if you go that route.

Keith Josey @ joseycues.com for a great,reasonably priced custom,(8-12 month wait).Or just go with a Schmelke basic sneaky pete,about $100 & just wait a couple days.I'm down to 8 cues,nice cues,but wished I had of just stuck with one cue,it can be habit forming !!!

I still get confused as to why some would pay hundreds for a house cue. I bought my favorite house cue and had it cut in half for about $60 total. Still plays the same.

You want the most bang for your buck? Contact Steve Symons at CrossBone Cues. For that price you can get a true sneaky or something a little more than sneaky. I just got one from him. It is one of the best hitting cues that I have ever shot with. A true crisp stiff hit. And if you don't like it - I will buy it from you. I can't give a better endorsement than that.
