I'm Setting Up An Elitte Spider Three Cushion Table In A Room That Has Carpet On The Floor. The Table Has A Twelve Point Leveling System That Sits On Twelve 3.5 Diameter Discs.i'm Thinking If I Just Put It On The Carpet I Will Have Continuing Leveling Problems Forever. Best Solution May Be To Carefully Cut Around Each Foot With A Sharp Exacto Knife Before The Slates Go On.i've Heard That Running A Hole Saw Slowly In Reverse Cuts A Neat Hole In Carpet.any Opinions Or Other Ideas Are Welcome.

I'm not afraid to set tables on carpet. Your table is going to be heavy, set it in place let it sit for an hour. How thick is your carpet, and the padding? is it unusually thick? or upstairs and thick carpet, sometimes tricky but not a problem.

The carpet will only settle so much.
Install the table and wait a day or so then level.
Check it again in a week and you should be ok.
