I love it.
It's fun if you have several people. A more fun way to do it (In my opinion) is to play 3 person 8 ball by putting an additional, non matching ball on the spot at the kitchen end of the table. I use a GOLD 8 ball. Each person has to pocket THEIR five balls then the "money ball" to win. It creates a lot of shot making because you are shooting around 2 sets of 5 instead of 1 set of 7.
It's good for people who can't make three balls in a row though.
Pool is entertaining. No doubt about it
I like One Pocket Best, I do not gamble so it hard to find people who want to play for next game advantage.

That can get real big real fast. Make 2 on the break and life can be sweet. It’s also a equalizer when it’s 5-6 handed the best player doesn’t have a lock on anything. He has a edge for sure, but anyone can win a big pot.
