cyano finish

a bit off the subject, but , i was putting on my first sg finish, not using the right equipment and in a hurry to finish some of my first cues. taking a deep breath, fan to my back, putting on a few coats and quickly stepping back to get another breath, then a few more coats, i started to step back for a bit more oxygen, and almost fell as my sneaker came off, i had super glued my shoe to the floor.

LOL, Glad I'm not the only one that has done that. It's been quite a long time, but I can remember once when I spilled some on My foot. I don't remember how I managed to do that, but I was wearing flip flops at the time, and not only did I glue My shoe to the floor but glued My foot to the shoe as well.

Speaking of... I know many of us have used the stuff to close cuts up to save the trip to the ER. This morning I had flops on, and busted My ass when I slipped in some water. On the way down I cracked My knee tore It open pretty good, and ripped the nail up on My big toe. I did want to pull all of the nail off, and I didn't want It to get snagged and rip It off so I glued It down with CA until It grows out. Seems to work for that as well.

well here is my horror story.....one night trying to finish a couple cues for a show---the next day(i know, dont ask..lol)i was dry sanding cues with a ca finish on themto level them out, didnt have the fan on that runs across the cue to blow the dust to my collector....got some of the fine dust in both of my eyes, went to lay down and take a nap....btw...it was about 4am...when i woke up at about 7am,tried to open my eyes, and low and behold,,,,my eyes were super glued shut!!!! Little did i know, tears will reactivate dried superglue and you will actually have superglue coming out of your tearducts!! So needless to say,it was a very interesting drive to the er,and trying to explain to the Dr.and the nurses how my eyes were glued shut!! Little to say i didnt make it to the show by 9am:banghead:
