Cynergy 11.8 vs Whyte Carbon 12.2

So I have the 11.8mm Cynergy with a HOW medium top and as much as I love it I’m considering a step up in diameter to the 12.2mm Whyte Carbon to have a little more forgiveness on the 9’ tables. Anyone else made this switch or have an opinion on the 12.2? The 12.5 I just can’t get comfortable playing with.

Everyone is different before I took 14 years away from the game I played with an 11.4 maple shaft no issues after the time off my consistency in my stroke is lacking. A larger shaft will help with that but like tips, shafts are a personal choice that’s why I was asking others who have stepped up their thoughts but thank you for sharing your opinion :)
