Cynergy 12.5 vs Breech

So I wanted to make a post I was considering the Breech as my new break cue but really wanted to keep my Jensen butt. So I decided to get the Cynergy 12.5 and have a phenolic ferrule put on it because they don’t sell the 12.9 shaft that comes with the Breech separately. I have had it about a week and I have to say coming from a Keilwood break shaft this thing is amazing. Only have to upgrade my jump to CF and I’m am completely updated.

I've seen a couple others do this as well because neither wanted a break shaft tip size over 12.5. The cynergy breach is a 12.75 tip which I find to be perfect.

So, you made a regular $450 (bumped recently from $400) Cynergy 12.5mm shaft your break shaft? And you replaced its ferrule with a harder one? That may be wise given the Cynergy ferrule is noted for its softness.

I tried out the Breech in Vegas at BCA and really loved it and honestly there is no difference in the break quality that I have noticed between the 2. I have a Taom 2.0 on it as well.

Considering I got it for $350 yeah I did good. And it breaks just as powerful as the Breech does. Very first APA break was an 8-Ball break lol. Very first BCA break was a break and run so it with my fundamentals seems to be a good fit 😉😬
