Cynergy 15k, Mezz Ignite, or Jacoby Black

I need help finding the right CF shaft for my Mezz EC7 w/United joint. Based off my research Cuetec and Mezz are the only ones I can find with United joints. But others like Jacoby offer 5/16x14 that supposedly would fit. I'm just not sure if I'd be losing something by not having a perfect joint mating?

I'm mainly looking for a slick shaft that doesn't need a glove or powder, great action, and won't ding easily. Secondary wants would be LD, not too shiny, and not too sharp of a sound.

I’d definitely recommend the ignite. I’ve used one for about 2 years and don’t see myself changing anytime soon. It’s so good that I just recently bought a 3/8x11 one for my custom cue.

I have a EC7 w/ united joint myself. It locks up better than any other cue that I've ever felt. Why would you ever want to use a 5/16X14 that sort of fits? Just because it can screw together doesn't mean it's a great idea.

That's the way I was leaning but want sure. Any input on a CF shaft that would fit?

I play with Ignite for one year, great shaft, but sometimes it's hard to control it.
Cynergy is more balanced, but he has a bit less power.
Talking to LD both shafts are in the same category.
EC7 w is a wenge wood, I played with an EC7W6, one of the stiffest playing cue (sold it due to this reason). If your but plays stiff, go with Cynergy, if your cue has a medium hit, go with Ignite.

Both shafts are good.

I have two ignites that I use with an Exceed. I’ve tried several other CF shafts that belong to friends. Some of them I outright hated (Revo), some of them were good or comparable to the ignite, but none of them better. I’m not sure there’s any point going into details because it’s all so subjective. However, given that you have a mezz, and mezz joints are proprietary, my first stop would be an ignite.
