hi just got my new cynergy shaft ,wanted to put it on my joss west butt 5/16-14 but it wont butt all the way up about a 1/8 inch gap but goes all the way down on my dan janes joss cue don't make sence to me.
 
Same thing happened to me. The joint just needed to be cored out or drilled out. I took it to a cue maker who did it for free.

Bill had his pins special made.
 
all other 5/16-14 shafts fit,playing with a 314-3 now fits perfect so does ob fit perfect on my joss west.
