Deflection is a thing...sure, but it is used convince people they need these $300 - $400 + shafts to play better pool ... mosconi ran 500+ balls with a standard maple shaft. this is more than about 95% of every one on AZ billiards could hope to do, yet we pay for expensive shafts, chalk, cues ..... we are lucky to run 50 balls in a row....

the problem isnt deflection (you can learn and adapt to play with anything) .... the problem is people are willing to pay large amounts of money needlessly to skip all the valuable lessons and still get nowhere.

Whats weird is per my post above, I doubled the length of mine and it made no discernible difference. I guess the Tomahawk ferrule material is so light (or not dense) and it didn’t add much mass…?

Possibly. All of my experiments have verified the endmass theory though.
