Okay, don't go running to the store just yet. It's only a small mention on Page 22 of the May 23, 2005 issue (Steve Nash on the cover):


Celluloid pool sharks are often hunky (see Paul Newman and Tom Cruise) but that doesn't stop Lions Gate from snapping up the flim rights to the life story of heavyset pool hall hustler Danny (Kid Deliscious) Basavich (SI, Feb. 14, 2005). Producer Peter Block sees the story of Kid and his sidekick, "Bristol" Bob Bogey, as Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid meets The Hustler. He wouldn't mind seeing someone like Jack Black star in the picture. (The first draft of the script is being written by SI's L. Jon Wertheim.) "Liike Jack, [Basavich] is just a lovable lug," says Block. "You want to put your arm around him and protect him, but then you realize at the same time he probably has his hand in your pocket, stealing your wallet."

Did you get SI's permission to distribute their article online for everyone to read with out purchasing the magazine?? :mad: Do you know how many sales you may have stopped?? :mad: I hope you are not sued! LMFAO!!!! :p

Actually, I did get their permission. They said and I quote, "Go right ahead, Jude. Do whatever you want. This is YOUR world!"

I am SOOO confused. I thought it was LS77's world and we were just in it. Oh, no. That was reality. Your world does not involve that concept, right? You worried me for a minute there, Jude!

When Danny was in Reno for the Sands event he won a while back, they announced him and and said he was going to be in SI.

Danny responded "Yeah, the swimsuit issue!" while rubbing his belly.

The crowd loved it...
 
Does anyone have the text to the articles? I know it is on the SI web site but ya gotta pay to see it.
