I look forward to watching Mr. Harrigan play here in Chicago. :)

Da Fan

I hafta ask... do you know the story of the name "Mr. Harrigan", or is that a typo?

Because I was under the impression that not too many people knew that story.

Gosh no, it was a typo! :o

I'm sorry, you know there was a bar in my neighborhood I used to visit called Harrigan's here in Chicago that changed it's name to Harriman's. I still keep screwing that one up all the time to! I might have just done it again here.

This morning, I was walking back to the car with my girlfriend discussing what movie we might watch later, and I can't believe what actually came out of my mouth. I told her I had "My Cinny Vousin" on the DVR! :D :D (the C pronounced like a K)

Nah, don't know about the story you are refering to, but the way you ask, it sounds either really funny, or bad, unless your just giving me grief for getting old. ;) I was trying to address him as Mr. Harriman out of respect to the folks here here who seem to be good friends of his and I didn't want to improperly infer to anyone that I was anything more than a fan.

If I've accidently brought up or implied something negative, I sincerely apologize. I will be more careful.

Well since Danny si not eligable for that event, it looks like we will have to celebrate his victory at The Windy City Open. Any suggestions all on what you would like to do as far as play the pro and so forth?

You are good Poet

Nothing negative to the story at all........to close friends its a good one. More of an inside story that you must know the people involved to understand. Danny is a gentleman in all aspects and having someone call him Mr Harriman is very classy. I applaud you for being such a classy and respectful man. You are just one more reason I look forward to coming back to your great city. In the 1 day we were there to watch Danny play in the finals of the qualifier I was treated with more class and respect by the individuals at the pool room there than I have at many pool rooms everywhere. Its a pleasure meeting true connoisseurs or this great game. :)

I got him in an eating contest!!!!

I will give him a serving of potato salad in an eating contest Eydie........but other than that it sounds like we just gotta so steak for steak. :D

Whew!

And thankyou for the very nice words. Not quite sure I deserve them, but thanks again.

It was cool seeing Mr. Harriman get the ball rolling out in Orland Park. It was a little like seeing the Space Shuttle, the launch is the best part to watch. I've always believed that nice people tend to bring out the good in others, so thanks again and I wish you all the best of luck!
