Glad to see ya back in form and firing the balls in da hole.

Just my opinion and i am sure you heard it before. Go to the damn open. Work your a@# off for the next 2 months and take the thing down. Do it for your love of the game. I know its a principal thing and i know it sucks. I learned a few lessons in life. Theres times when you got to suck it up and go for what you love to do. You have the heart of a champion and love of the game. Show it to the fools at the open.

Sorry Pat I understand where your coming from but there have been two many up hill battles when dealing with the Behrman's. There was the Master's where Berry owed me $4,400 for eight months, now his son still owes me $1,600.00. Getting paid from one of the Behrman events is like climbing an icy mountain barefoot, besides I would never pay the 100.00 dollar membership fee when I myself am still owed $ from the upa. You may not completely understand the life a professional pool player leads and I'm sure that you have a descent job that produces consistant incom. I might however pose a question, if your boss said I can't pay what I owe you but if you would like to keep working here you will have to pay us $100.00. I realize that playing tournaments is different than a 9 to 5 job but would you continue to work for that company?

Hi Danny,

I didn't realize it was that bad. Are most of the events like this, not paying out right away and owing money? And also, do you sign a contract with when you enter these type of events? Just a curious mind and if I am being too nosey, I apologize!

Well, this topic brings up a good question, have you looked into the IPT? I would like to know why we don't hear more on this subject, maybe believing promoters and getting paid have been a problem for a lot of pros. But as I see it the first 43 players that signed up are going to be playing for a purse of 1 million with a top prize of 200,000 in the December tournament.

So say you end up 20th place, well that could be a 15,000 or 20,000 dollar payday, what pro would not like a shot at that? I don't know but heck you could come in last and make back the 899 membership fee with only 43 players in the first tournament.

I guess many guys are waiting to see people get the checks and cash them, but this guy does have the cash, and just inked Arthur Smith (Fox Sports/Reality TV producer) to produce the IPT events.

Have you looked into it at all?
