First of all, I'd like to wish everybody a Happy Thanksgiving. As the title says, Danny is back and hitting them well. I'm in no way affiliated with Danny, and I'm not here to blow any of his action.
I'm just happy that I got to see what I saw last night at Hanks Billiards last night. Danny and Mark Haddad, the two best players in Colorado playing in the finals of an impromptu last minute big table 9 ball tournament. Before they played, the woofed and barked back and forth about what they were gonna do, and I assume that it was about how they'd split and how they'd play. Obviously they were more interested at having fun than winning, but as a result a couple of us had the privlage of seeing some free spirit, free stroking pool played at it's best!
Danny looked really good. He moved around the table really well, for the most part walked into every shot with that "I meant to do that" confidence. It was cool to watch.
Doesn't matter who won, so I won't say...........as it was fairly obvious that neither player was concerned with the results of the won/loss. They were having fun and putting on one hell of a show.
I'd really like to see Danny stay on the path that he apparently is right now because if he does, he could possibly be competitive again on a national level.
