Hi all,

Anyone with any experience with Danny Tibbits please let me know could u advise me?
With Danny personally or with his cues?

On a personal basis, I met with Danny three times and he is super friendly, very knowledgeable about cues and their construction and easy to work with. He did great work on a couple of my cues and was very quick and reasonably priced. That was at least 2 years ago and I have been told that he has a couple of cues in the work and is not taking any more orders. I don't know that as fact because I have not asked him directly.

I read that he has made between 80 and 100 cues in his career. Danny told me he thought it was around 70. Either way, there are not many out there and certainly slim to none for sale.

oh thanks.

The reason i am asking this is that i am due to have a cue made by him, and i would like to know how long he takes.
With my past experiences, some cuemakers are right on the dot on delivery, some are pretty well...Sometimes "cuemaker time" can be very super flexible...
i wouldnt mind 3-4 months off... but i would like not to repeat my last episode with a cuemaker who promised 3 months, but took 3 years..

You are right on him being a nice chap. :)

Ohhhh....you have one of the ones in the works. What does it look like?

I have not heard anything about his delivery times for a new cue. My repairs were done right on schedule.

geraldg is a neighbor of danny's and i believe sean of cue addicts could tell you about him as well.

Hey titlistsucker,
Danny is a friend of mine, he does very good work & can compete with the best cuemakers.

From what I hear Danny has a 1 year waiting list. You should talk with Danny about the time frame.

Geraldg (az screenname) & Scott G. (non-member of az) have their 2nd cue from Danny in the process. I suggest you also contact "geraldg" via PM for expert advise.

As for DT's cues For Sale.
Scott G. Has his first cue made by Danny up for sale. All I can tell you about this cue is that below the wrap there is a 14k white gold ring studed with 3.5k high quality diamonds.
Scott advised me his 2nd DT cue would contain 2 diamond studed rings.

Scott's first DT cue is presently being re-finished by DT & will be like new. Selling price $15K. If your interested let me know.

I am also going to send you a PM.

"Have A Nice Day",
Lamar

Danny ,,,,,,,,,,,,waiting nearly 6 years for our two that are on order.

Sean

the nice thing about waiting SIX YEARS for a cue is that when it comes, you realize time goes by quickly.

i've been waiting 4+ years for my joss west, and i didn't have grey hair back then.
