When DAZN launched in the US in 2018 they made a deal with Matchroom to show their stuff. So ESPN was out. Nothing ridiculous about it not being on cable. DAZN chooses to use the Internet instead of cable.

I guess I'm just frustrated that I can't watch it considering the enormous cable and internet bill I pay every month
Why should it be free? No different than other pay-extra channels. DAZN is pretty cheap. Watch the MC for 20bux then cancel DAZN.

I don’t love their platform. Events are posted last minute on the schedule and replays disappear fast.
But I watch all kinds of PPV pool events. AccuStats, PoolActionTV, OmegaTV, BilliardNetTV, etc. So many events are like $30-$40 per event and their streaming platforms are worse.
None of them have the production values of Matchroom events. $100 for an annual pass to see 6 Matchroom events at a value near $18 a pop and access to other sports is still a better value than all other PPV options in the pool industry.

I think the videos put up on the day of are basically bootleggers- not Match Room.
All bootleggers. If the match gets way out of hand they might put free match up but i doubt it since they contracted with DAZN.
