This belongs to a buddy of mine. Its a mooch for sure, but I'm looking for any suggestions on build date?

One thing that may be worth noting, the "meucci" logo is raised just a bit. Not sure if I've seen that before.

Go to budgetcues.com and click on Meucci Archives and see if you can find it.

Not a bad idea John. I just took a look at that site and didn't see this exact cue, but some kinda close. Thanks for the site though.

The cue "seems" aged if that makes any sense. I was hoping it might be a very early model. The thing hits great as well.

about 1985 to Current Meucci Originals stamp used on all production meucci cues made at the Olive Branch,, and now at the Sledge Mississippi plant.

So says Discount Cues. Their talking about the scroll logo , which your stick has.

The stick is obviously old but it is not one of the more desirable ,"Original."
sticks.

it's for sure not a very early model. the earlist of bob's cues from the 70's have the bmc logo. then there were the ones he did for players that have the players name and by meucci, like the buddy hall cues. then you move to the meucci original logo, then the sript logo's. the ealiest that cue was made was somwhere around the late 80's early 90's i am not sure but your cue looks a lot like a 95-8 in this link, 95 being the approximate production year.
