Excerpt on Dave's policy. ...
Sorry if I don't do Points and Inlays, I am a one man shop and I keep plenty busy without them. I have the setup to do them, I have done them but it does add time and time is money, besides, it won't improve the performance of the Cue and that's what is most important too me. There are many fantastic Cue manufactures who offer some great inlay work but I have my niche and that makes me smile.
My Cues run true and straight. My main Lathe weighs 1,000 pounds and it's Spindle is dialed in with a runout of less than 1/10,000 of an inch. I use a very expensive 6 jaw chuck that is 4 point micro adjustable and has a repeatability claim of .0005" (or one half of one thousands of an inch,) and I bore every hole after drilling. I also design and make my own Collets to match the tapers of my Cue designs. My Collets are 3 inches long and solid to ensure accuracy for the Center Pin Alignment.
