I had the chance to go out to John Davis's shop and pick up some blanks while I was working on this cue a while back. I was very impressed with the blanks that he is making and just wanted to post what a pleasure it was dealing with John. You couldn't ask for a nicer guy to do business with. He stands behind every blank he makes. I am working on a few more davis blanks, and will post some pics when they are done.
