DC++ problem, reaction, solution.

DC++/pbhub is going to be down for awhile I think. Why dont we all just meet up on a selected hub, and use nicks like 9ball1,8ball etc. then we will all be able to swap files and chat. At least untill poolandbilliards becomes online. What do you all think? this is a new hub with very few users.... gottochblandat.no-ip.com

Thats a good idea for the time being until the pool hub gets back up if it ever does, I generally try to connect to the bigger hubs at the top of the public hubs list like Bluetooth, Light Sweden, Spuds etc. but I'm thinking a smaller and reliable hub would be better. But which hub were you thinking of silentone?

not a very pretty name, but only 8 users onboard. I changed my nickname to silentone9ball to identify billiards. just a thought. I talked to the operator "stormblast", he like 9ball and says we are welcome there. He also says he will join pool and billiards when it is up again.

Is the hub open 24-7 ? Hoping to join there soon... have some new vids to share. VHS-ripped old mid90's EuroTour events...

24/7 365 days. we have quite a few pool hub members there now. It is like old times hahahaha!

Umm, does anyone know if a different hub makes any difference in download queue, if I want to complete the unfinished files ?

If the same file is available from any user you can add it to your cue and the download will resume. If the same user with the same file connects it will automatically resume the download. Here's hoping, I've got a few gigs of half finished files =/

Me too, plenty of unfinished files... and it's not even my own computer, I'm just using my friend's computer when I visit him.
Well, hoping to get back online to dc++ soon and start downloading all the wpc2004 files... grin !
 
I found a guy who has the whole 2004 WPC on 10 DVDz for 120 us dollar bills. He gave me a bank info so it looks legit but........
