If you had a bad experience with this seller, can you give more detail. I had been thinking about this spindle for some time, but wondered about the quality at such a low price. In a discussion with Tony Zinzola, he said that he had one and it worked fine. He didn't mention any problem with the seller.

When I ordered mine he was in the middle of moveing and he was still easy for me to get a hold of.. He answered all my questions. If you ask someone about the spindle ask Tony Zinzola he has one and loves it..

I purchased mine several years ago. I have sent him several emails (ebay questions for seller) and never received any replies. The questions were very simple such as inquiring as to whether he had discontinued the type of mount that he first sold me or was he simply out of stock. Another unanswered question was regarding replacement drive belts.

Eventually I will need new bearings and am confident that I'll be forced to go elsewhere for them.

Bill, I have one of his older spindles as well. The spindle is well built. I had no issue recieving my spindle and he was kind enough to modify a mount for me on another spindle. The only thing I never cared for was the belt used to drive the spindle. Mine was an O-ring. I had a hard time with the fact that a broken $0.50 belt could bread a $15 bit. In either case he makes a great spindle and his mount is top notch.

Is it possible to run two belts or O-rings at one time? You then possibly would be able to stop and change belts when one breaks.

I have two of these that have been sitting on the work bench for about a year now. I actually bought his best models with the controller. One needs bearings and the other has an electrical problem. The RPM will just drop for no apparent reason. Tried messing with them for a while but had no luck so I just bought an NSK. Nobody around here had any idea how to fix them and I sure didn't. I had no luck with this guy at all. Went to him first......the story is far to long to go into here. If anyone is smarter than I (which dont take much) and thinks they are worth anything, let me know. I'm not going to give them away but I think I would let them go pretty cheap. Paid like $500 each
