DCC 2007 -- which is cheaper?

hi all,
I want to attend the DCC in 07 (and have never gone to one) in more of a spectator role than anything else. Do you get passes to all the events to watch if you enter one event? or is your pass only good for the event that you enter? what sort of seats do you get as a player who has been eliminated? it seems like it would be cheaper to enter an event and try to play a bit and watch at the same time then just going and watching. what do other people do? thanks for the advice!

If I remember right it entitles you to full entry into all events as a spectator. You just cant sit in VIP sections during the playing times. After hours you can sit anywhere to sweat a match. But the finals & Semis of the nine ball is almost exclusively VIP and reserved seating so that means that 1000 players have tickets to about 50 seats. If I remember right for the nine ball finals there were only 2 rows of bleachers for all the general admission people. So they had to get there pretty early and wait. I just paid for the reserved seats so I could come and go as I pleased. If the finals, semis arent a big deal to you....probably suggest just going as a player.
 
If you're going to be there more than a few days, entering the banks tourney and the associated players pass will be your best bet. I don't remember the exact amounts, but to buy a morning and evening session ticket was around $15.00 per day. I believe the banks entry was $75.00, so if you're there for 5 days or more, you break even or come out ahead. As mentioned above, a players pass will get you into the room for all the sessions. The semi's and finals are a different story. Even then, they have bigscreens that you can watch the match on from throughout the room, even if you're not in direct eyesight of the table. Man, I can't wait for January!
 
Entry to any event will get you general admission for the whole thing (i.e. they are not going to stop you and see if you are playing at that particular time because that would be too time-consuming).

VIP seating is a must if you want to see any Semi-Finals/Finals games since those generally draw the biggest crowd.
 
I should have made it clearer that entry into ANY event gets you the full tourney general admission pass (thanks Sam!). I only specifically mentioned the Banks event because I believe it was the cheapest entry of the three divisions.
