Here I am reading all about the DCC. Having never been to an SBE or US Open, my thoughts are now that I really want to do next years DCC.

First, some info about me.
I am a APA 7 in 8-ball and an 8 in 9-ball. I would consider myself a B to B+ player but probably not an A by most standards. Can beat the 9-ball ghost on good days.

So I am thinking, should I go the DCC as a spectator or actually enter an event or 2 (as long as money is not an issue).

I would say enter everything, but I realize 1-hole isn't everyone's cup to tea. But as long as $$ isn't an issue, I would recommend entering the 9-ball & the 9-ball banks. It's not every day you get the chance to play against champions & that alone will help your game. Also, if you've never played banks, it is a very fun format.

BACK AT THE OLD HOTEL SITE FOR ONE, MONEY IS A ISSUE PERIOD TAKE A LOOK AROUND NOT NEAR AS MANY VENDORS IN THE HALL WAYS! DOWN TOWN YOU HAD MORE CHOICES FOR PLACES TO EAT & HOTELS! EVERYONE LIKES A VARIETY. 2008 WAS MY LAST YEAR AT THE DERBY, NO PLANS TO GO BACK UNTIL THERE IS A DIFFERENT SITE AT MORE REASONABLE PRICES!
