dcc hotel question???

Hi Guys; can anyone answer this? is there a freg or microwave in rooms???:confused: :confused: :confused:
 
Not last year, but I think they have worked on them since. Perhaps the suites have them.
 
They have some with a fridge anyway for a $10 upcharge. They were all booked however in mid-December when I made my reservation.
 
You can get a refrigerator for 25.00 per day. Seems a little high for a half unit that will probably only hold a six pack.
I can fill my stretchy pants with ice and at least hold a 12 pack.

$25.00 a day for a refrigerator is robbery and I think it's another case of taking advantage of the pool players. I bet they don't charge that after the DCC is over. I read a review about last year's DCC on food at the host hotel and a local couple was in line to get food and they complained about an item costing more than normal and the hotel worker told them that the price was higher than normal because of the pool tournament!
 
We ate in the restaurant twice a day. I can't say the prices were out of line. The breakfast buffet was around $12 and included your beverages.

Sandwiches were around $8.50 and came with fries. These prices are about what any sports bar would charge.

Now the crap from the makeshift café outside of the main room is a different story.

I seen some people get deliveries from the outside. One of them was the Reyes group of Philippinos. They got about 8 boxes full of stuff delivered inside the main room a little after midnight. It consisted of chicken wings, pizza etc.
