DCC Master of the Table, Again!

Shane just posted this on facebook about 40 minutes ago: "Im happy with my success. I defended my title in one pocket and all-round master of the table in derby city. Thanks for all support"

I guess it is confirmed that Shane will win the "DCC Master of the Table" for the 2nd year running after John Morra got eliminated by Mika in 9-ball and Shane's still in (that was a big match this morning when SVB beat Morra). His 2nd place finish in the banks & defending his 1-pocket title might have helped a little.

Thanks for the update Dave. I have been getting mixed answers on the chats and was wondering how it turned out. It must have been a grueling week for the players.

Shane is now guaranteed 3rd in the 9-ball event. SVB v Mike D. winner plays Stevie Moore (bye) for the cheese. Each has 1 loss.

This week for Shane is easily the best showing anyone has ever had at the Derby. Really amazing to get 2nd in banks, win the one pocket, get at worst 3rd in 9 ball and win the all around.

If he beats Dechaine, he will have been in the finals of all three tournaments. That is beyond sick.

I really think if it weren't for that mishap in the banks where the game was awarded to Morra, SVB would have most likely won the banks, having a chance to sweep the week.
