Hey all, I live 30 miles west of Louisville and I've been looking into a different stick or shaft (another question in another thread) but I will only buy a stick after hitting with it and most of the local dealers here don't keep hardly any in stock... I've never been to the DCC but plan on going to check it out...Will there be any vendor booths, Viking, McDormett, Ob-1 etc etc there?

Many, very many!

I'm mainly wanting to shoot with a Joss, McDormett and Viking b/c that's all I really know of that are decent looking cues under $375 range with a reputable name that i can actually shoot with before buying.

Yes, yes and yes. There will be many good cues (new and used) for you to try out. If you are seriously thinking of buying a cue, you'll find one (or two or three) you'll like there. And best of all, NO WAITING!

Where abouts are you? Chad Carter will let you shoot with some of his to let you try them out. Or at least a few of them. I hope he took me serious on building me a cue with the forearm he brought over to show me. (hint hint) if you are reading this Chad.

And Jay, where are you from? I asked Nick if he knew you the last time he was over. He said he knew you but I never asked where you were from.

I haven't seen him play yet, but he says he's interested in learning how. He lives in Atlanta so thankfully we'll be near some real tables. I'm going to get him on the tennis court, too :)

He also took that picture of me and Castor for my Christmas card!

I seen your myspace page (from your profile on here) and it says you live in Columbus/Atlanta. My family is from Columbus and the surrounding areas (Phenix City, Auburn, Smiths Station). I was born in Opelika.

I'm kin to alot of the Mann family thats big in Columbus/Phenix City.

I've lived here since the early 90s, but I'm not familiar with a "Mann" family. I know the Woodruff and Diaz-Verson-Amos families.

I'm not exactly sure where they lived in Columbus exactly. I know they were heavy in the Girard area in Phenix City. My cousin works for the big Jay car dealerships in Columbus.
