Tom "Dr Cue" Rossman says having that "Take It For Granted" idea towards even the simplest of runouts can be disastrous. just ask Earl in his 2001 CoC match against Bustamante when he snookered himself off the 6-Ball........
I would say choosing that shot is pretty much determined by what side of the table you are standing at and how tired or energic you are to walk to the otherside.
