I was wondering if anyone here has tried or knows anyone that has tried a De Roo cue. His webpage is www.deroocues.com. I was thinking about ordering a Sneaky Pete off of him but i don't want it if someone comes on here and says its crap. Lemme know

Thanks

From Vancouver Canada. He builds decent cues from what I have seen. Have not heard any negative stuff about his cues. I hit with a meucii that had a Deroo shaft on it that hit real sweet. The shaft had really thin points comming up from the joint about 10 inches up the shaft that looked pretty cool and might have added a touch of stiffness, depending on how the points were put in they would perhaps affect the shaft much like the predator system.

Cue maker in Calgary is making top end cues and has gotten quite afew orders from top players on the west coast. From people I have seen and talked to that have hit with both Deroo and this builder most have gave an edge to the Calgary cue maker. Prices are similar. If you want to know the cue builder in Calgary email me at Lyonspride@shaw.ca although he does not build sneaky petes. If you go instead with the Deroo I would not worry, you will get a very nice cue I am sure from the work I have seen.

I ran in to Kevin last night, a few of my friends use his cues as too, he was showing me some recent work and he really makes a great cue with excellent woods and quality of finish.
I played with one of his maple snooker cues as I had left mine at home and it really hits solid.
you can't go wrong with his work.

good luck
