Deal gone bad on superior cues site

"Jackwagons" are part of our Society. Martin said his piece and dropped it. Exact details, as has been said, are unknown.

Martin has always been straight with me and with those I know in all dealings. But Lord is his 1 Hole game slow!

How slow is he?
He ships those leather wraps in a day, which is not bad for a slow guy.

So who's "ruining it"? Martin was trying to help a customer sell his cue and the move backfired on him. His customer and Pookster did their deal outside of AZland and the communication broke down for whatever reason. None of us were there to know the exact details. So, what does that have to do with here....I sure as hell won't stop trying to sell/buy cues because of a few jackwagons that happen to be out there. They are here, facebook, ebay, and everywhere for that matter.

Jack Ass's to Jack Wagons, with a bunch more Jacks in between..

I am sick of seeing this thread. By all accounts, Pookie is a great guy. Guess what, Martin is a great guy. HERE IS WHAT NEEDS TO BE LEARNED. Never lend your name to something to which is out of your control. Martin in good faith did so with his website to HELP HIS CUSTOMERS. Pookie dealt outside of the website direct with a third party. Martin had nothing to do with this guy.

The title of the thread is wrong, the deal was with Pookie and the other party, not thru Superior.

GET OVER IT. It is a bad idea to lend your name to a service or deal out of your control, one which you have no financial benefit. It is wrong to deal direct and expect a third party to clean up the mess!

The Mods should close this out and those who perpetuated this thread should learn something about business.

Seems pretty cut & dried. You're not satisfied & cannot be solved via internet communication.Get in your car & drive to where seller is & return the cue & get your $$$ back.If you drive 1000 miles to & from your home charge him about .72 CPM,(cent per mile) plus eats & room for at least 2 nights.Hopefully he'll not ***** about it but keep in mind, there's more than one way to skin a cat, just be polite & don't be the cat !!!

Good post... I was going to add to it, but it's like running your head into a wall.

What Martin did, not different than the FS section here. Had he been a true consigner, I would say string him up. Situation sucks for both parties, whether it was a misunderstanding of the wording of the ad, or whatever.

But I will tell you it is not a bad idea, if your in the middle of a deal, to use the snippit program in windows, OR a screen print because you never know what you may need to fall back on.

I recall reading through this when it first came up, have not read through all eleven pages but I don't see where Martin is liable here. I get that the cue was found on Martin's page but he was doing something as a favor for someone by listing the cue there. At the end of the day, the deal was worked out with the buyer and seller, not Martin. Like saying all the folks that have been screwed in purchasing something here should blame AZ. I've dealt with Martin a few times, no issues what so ever. AT the end of the day, the guy that shipped the cue, Don I think it was, does not sound like he was honest in asking about weight and a weight bolt.
